An original story written by our student Shonali Agarwal.
Shonali is 10 years old inquisitive girl from Jaipur. We are proud to have her as a student of Level 1 – Little Writers Program, an Online Creative Writing Program using Applied Storytelling & Theatre tools under the mentorship of Trainer Khusshbo Chokhaani. We congratulate Shonali for this exemplary true self-expression.
Seasons
Once upon a time, there was a girl. Her name was Tiya. Tiya lived in a hilly place. One day, she went down to the meadow. When she went down suddenly the spring season has come. After that, she ran away and told her parents about the arrival of the spring season. She wondered why rain does not come in Spring Season. Her parent told her about the natural cycle. Then she asks what is a natural cycle. Then her parent said, “what a good question.” They explained to her about the natural cycle or season.
They told her that “We have four types of seasons – summer season, winter season, autumn season, and your favourite spring season. In the summer season, the scorching sun dries up all leaves. Then comes Monsoon when pitter-patter raindrops quench our thirst. Then arrives winter when trees are covered with snow. Then arrives your favourite season -Spring-where flowers bloom.”
Tiya said, “Now I understand why rain does not come. Thank you, for helping out.”
