An original story written by our student Sanvika Venkat.

Sanvika is 8 years old young orator and writer from Noida. We are proud to have her as a student of the Level 1 Little Kathakar Program, an Online Creative Writing & Public Speaking Program using Applied Storytelling & Theatre tools under the mentorship of Trainer Khusshbo Chokhaani. We congratulate Sanvika for this exemplary true self-expression.

Award or Journey

It was a dead night. The hyenas were howling because of the cold. The smell of misty fog filled the air. One could almost see the black ice. The dense dark mountains were suddenly appearing out of nowhere. There was ice all around. One could see nothing but snow and if one dared to step out one would surely be frozen.

A woman was living in the mansion in Spiti Valley. That woman was wearing a thick blue coat with multiple pockets, 2 sweaters inside the coat, and fleece bell bottoms. Her name was Rivana. She had long blonde hair with blue ends tied in a high ponytail. She wore black heeled boots. Rivana was a very good artist. She even won the Hugo Boss prize. She always wanted to earn digital art. She even dreamt about winning the Digital Lumen awards.

She worked hard on her dream day and night. There was a slight problem. Whenever she tried to learn she failed miserably. So she tries to avoid the frustration and go the easy way out by chatting with her friends but she knew she had to face her fears one day.

Long after that, she started searching for courses, materials, etc, and found out she had been making so many mistakes. First, she needs an iPad and an Apple pencil. Second of all, she needs to buy a special app for it. Once Rivana fixed her mistakes she was back on track successfully learning digital art.

She continued working hard with new tools and one day her Art Work was listed for the Digital Awards Nomination list. That day she realized the journey was more important for her than the Award. Since then, she never worked for the Award.
