Ban Hunting
If hunting is banned, why do people still hunt?
Paul Rodriguez once said ‘’Hunting is not a sport. In a sport both sides should know they are in the game.’’
While hunting is banned in India, during the lockdown the percentage of hunting has doubled. Hunting is subject to many legal restrictions. People in the name of trophy hunting have slaughtered 2 million animals. Trophy hunters have slaughtered more than 78,000 mountain lions in the last two decades.
Mexico has a hunting industry valued at approximately $200 million with about 4,000 hunting ranches. Numerous renowned people like Teddy Roosevelt, George W Bush, etc. have been associated with slaughtering animals and trophy hunting.
I believe that we should build more animal sanctuaries, train more people to become vets and train dogs to protect animals if we want to stop poaching.
