An original story on fantasy, written by our student Rishik Grover.

Rishik is 11 years old young writer from Gurugram. He loves cricket and music. We are proud to have him as a student of the Little Writers Program, an Online Creative Writing Program using Applied Storytelling & Theatre tools under the mentorship of Trainer Khusshbo Chokhaani. We congratulate Rishik for this exemplary true self-expression.

Enlightened

The year is 2042. India has become a technological superpower, but it is also a land of great inequality. The rich live in luxury, while the poor are forced to live in squalor.

In this world, there exists a group of warriors known as the “Enlightened.” The Enlightened are gifted with mystical powers, and they use these powers to protect the innocent and fight against the forces of evil.

One day, the Enlightened are called upon to investigate a series of mysterious attacks that have been plaguing the city of Delhi. The attacks are being carried out by a group of criminals known as the “Nightmares.” The Nightmares are using a combination of technology and magic to create powerful weapons and creatures that are capable of great destruction.

The Enlightened soon discover that the Nightmares are led by a powerful sorcerer named Lord Raven. Raven is determined to take over India, and he will stop at nothing to achieve his goal.

The Enlightened must use all of their skills and powers to defeat Raven and his Nightmares. If they fail, India will be plunged into darkness.

The battle between the Enlightened and the Nightmares is long and bloody. The Enlightened are outnumbered and outgunned, but they are determined to protect their homeland.

In the end, the Enlightened are victorious. They defeat Raven and his Nightmares, and they save India from destruction.

The Enlightened are hailed as heroes, and they are given a place of honor in Indian society. They use their powers to help the poor and the oppressed, and they work to create a more just and equitable society.

The story ends with the Enlightened looking out over the city of Delhi. They know that there will always be evil in the world, but they are confident that they will be able to defeat it. They are the Enlightened, and they are the protectors of India.

It’s a marvelous work of an eleven year old youngster. The marvel of the story is Hope. It’s because on one hand Rishik mentions outnumbering of the Saviours but on the other hand, his story makes them Victorious. The Hope element in the youngsters will be the driving force for all good things on the horizon.
I loved his optimism.
