Rose and Goddess Parvati

Once in Shimla, it was subzero and raw. The place was covered with frost snow and brisk. The trees were shedding down their beautiful leaves, fruits, and flowers because of the snow. It was snowy in the city. We could not see anything far from the distance because of the fog. In Shimla it’s pleasant snow it is below freezing blistery and icy. It’s harsh to touch anything because of the chilly and nippy snow. It started to rain which made the city crispy and dry. It again started to be bleak and frosty. The mountains were half covered with snow, making the temperature biting, fresh, and hard. The rivers were frozen. People were ice skating on the lakes, ponds, and rivers. There was a blowing voice of wind coming from the forest whoo-whoo-whoo. The flowers that were left were giving a smell of dry leaves. We could see snow only.

There lived a gorgeous girl named Rose. She had blue eyes that sparkled in the bright sun. She had bright golden hair. She was brilliant. She loved to read. She had read every single book in the world. She had a doll called Kushboo. Rose was thin as a stick. Her doll was even thin. The doll always wore a beautiful pink, blue, and white gown. Rose even wore the same. Rose sang melodiously. She was kind, friendly, and kind-hearted and she was innocent to everyone, if some people were bad, she was still good to them. She had a secret that her doll only knew. It was that she had magical powers.

She had a magical cat. There was another secret of her that she could speak cat language and understand it. The pet magical cat is used to refill rose powers. Rose was now 20 years old. She even had a wand.

One day she had a nightmare that her voice had vanished, but she tried her best, but she couldn’t get it back. She had all the medicines, but her voice could not come back. Then she woke up and ah! It was a dream, but her voice did not come. She told her mother in sign language that she was unable to speak. Her mom got her medicines from all over the world, but it did not work.

One day they met a relative, and her mom told her everything about Rose. She said there is a river Ganga that cures everything, and Rose needs to take three dips in the cold water that comes from the Himalayas. The places where the mighty Ganga flows are Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Bihar, and West Bengal. Her mother decided to go to Rishikesh immediately. They reached Rishikesh the next day.

There was a monk who was making a sound of oom, oom, oom again and again. They quickly went to the river Ganga and there rose took 3 dips. Suddenly, a sparkling golden light appeared in front of Rose, and she became the goddess, Parvati. Goddess Parvati granted her voice back. Rose’s mother started crying because she was overwhelmed. Both of them expressed their gratitude to the goddess Parvati and went back home.
