The Fox & The Mango

One bright sunny morning, in a deep and dense forest of Jim Corbett, there were tall and thick mango trees. These trees had mangoes of different sizes. There were big and small mangoes hanging from the trees. Some were ripe and some were unripe. Some were yellow and some were green in color.

Suddenly a storm came, and all the leaves, dirt, and sand started swirling around in the storm. The branches of the tree started swaying hard from left to right. The rustling sound of the leaves became stronger and stronger. This loosened up the mangoes.

A furry fox came looking after the food. The storm calmed down as well. The fox looked left and right. He sniffed the sweet aroma of mangoes. He quickly turned around and ran towards the mango trees. He looked up. He saw many ripe and unripe mangoes hanging from the tree.

He wondered how to get those ripe mangoes. He thought of jumping up. He tried and tried many times, but he failed.

One last time, he used all his might and power. He came running from a distance and took a huge leap.

He grabbed a mango in his mouth, but he also fell flat on a path of grass making a loud sound of Dhaaaammmmmm!!!
