Poetry Collection # 2

1. Rudolph, The Red Masked Reindeer -Quatrain Free Verse Style Poetry

Rudolph the red nosed reindeer
Is now a red masked one,
He who once had a round flashlight in the middle of his face
Now seems to have none.

He was flying Santa’s sleigh at a great pace,
So fast that when a strong wind blew
It blew Rudolph’s mask into his face.

He shrieked and cried, “Wait, my mask flew off!!!”
He panicked and could not fly
The wind blew hard and threw him, Santa and the sleigh
Across the cloudy sky.

The Sleigh crashed on a roof
Rudolph toppled and hit a wooden chimney
Which caused the sleigh to rise
And launched Santa into the sky. He cried, “Help me!!!!!”

Luckily Santa did not get hurt
When he landed on the fluffy snow
But Rudolph now knows that
Flying with a mask on, is not as easy as it looks so.

2. My Brother Kartikeya- Quatrain Free Verse Style Poetry

Kartikeya, so cute to cuddle
But his name is a second name for trouble!
But Kartikeya is my brother
And like him there is no other.

Kartikeya, a big, BIG fool
I can really use him as a tool!
Since corona came to town,
He is actually MISSING SCHOOL!

I mean, who in this world
Wants to go there?
like the school’s boring library
where they make you read books
all the time, is that fair?

But still he is quiet a good company
An excellent person to love
Like those white and adorable birds
What do you call them now- ahh, right! Dove!

3. Dear God, Thank You!  – Quatrain Free Verse Style Poetry

You are always with me

Whether the times are bad or good,

Whether I am feeling happy or sad

Beside me, you always stand.

You might not be seen

But you are in everything;

And you are the only one

Who can make me fly with golden wings.

Please make us kids

Always shine like the sun

Make us always do good deeds

And have lots of fun!
