1. Seasons

(A Regular Acrostic Poem)

Sun shines after the clouds clear up and flowers bloom.
Endless excitement in every family on the beach and the pool
Autumn leaves turning yellow, orange, or red and decorating every street with a light wind.
Showers are peaceful and calm down every café and household.
Ocean waves are getting harsher every second and a storm rolling every minute.
Night sky appears earlier every day and it gets colder every week.
Snowflakes accessorize the pretty pale sky and that is what SEASONS are all about.

2. Desserts

(A Regular Acrostic Poem)

Delicious choices getting me lured.
Excellent decoration making it harder to not taste.
Several pies getting finished in minutes.
Sundaes getting devoured before it melts.
Enormous cakes about to give me a stomachache.
Rich desserts are worth all the consumed sugar.
Tasty desserts deserve money well spent.

3. Winter Is All About

(An Abecedarian Acrostic Poem)

Anorak jackets are being found because heavy,
Breezes start to howl,
Candy canes hanging from the Christmas tree, since winter is arriving,
Duvets are covering my bed and making me warm,
Earmuffs are protecting me from heavy storms,
Frosty weather outside while I am listening to Taylor Swift’s ‘Cardigan’,
Gingerbread houses are fun. Sipping on,
Hot cocoa and enjoying a Christmas movie,
Ice and snow giving my dog a delight. We love wearing,
Jumpsuits and ugly Christmas sweaters,
Kedge -gutted, I am feeling after an enormous Christmas dinner. Those,
Latkes are so delicious,
Mittens with googly eyes making my hands look cute. The,
Nor’easter brewing somewhere in the western North Atlantic,
Overcoats selling out in a panic,
Peppermints are stocked up in every house and you can put,
Quilted jackets down there too. Enjoying,
Roasted beef in raw weather is the best feeling,
Snow-boarding too,
Turtlenecks of all kinds filling up my closet and,
Ugly Christmas sweaters too,
Vests and,
Wool coats are my favorite clothes for now. Winter brings joy and,
X-mas makes everything more merrier and brings excitement, just like the,
Yule ball. Cold
Zero temperature zones are my favorite………

4. Reverie And Ukiyo

(A Mesostich Acrostic Poem)

Getting lost as I sit in the middle of my dReams
These delusions are a plEasant making me feel free
My mind flows like the water of a gentle riVer
While my eyEs are closed without a shiver
A pulsating sound of Rain, slowly dripping in my ears
I completely forgot all my fears
Wishing for this dream to nevEr end
But the sad reality is thAt it will
I am going to eNjoy this paradise while it lasts
Where there is serene and unmoveD calm
Life is so fun with the Unpleasantness pushed away
Knowing this feeling, I now want to go on a vacation or getaway
I know I have to wake up from thIs dream, but I am enjoying it as long as I’m free
The feeling was exemplarY
Just living in the moment, detached from bOthers of life

5. Wildest Dreams

(A Telestich Poem)

Sitting there watching this oceanvieW
It was a nice sunny day, the girls were in their bikinI
I could sense a smell, somewhat sweet and floraL
It felt like a potion of love, my brain was going wilD
A light breeze passed through; I thought my goosebumps just rosE
However, the scent still smelt great, like a garden of roseS
I followed the aroma, wherever it went, and it led me to a beautiful florisT
I purchased some flowers and beside it saw a bookshop, I bought myself one to reaD
Came across a café, I read the book for hours, and from my eyes rolled down a teaR
This day had me feeling so happy and freE
While reading the book, I didn’t stop myself from having some boba teA
Reached home, I put the flowers in the vase, watching them blooM

I will again be waiting for a day like this if it ever comeS

Poetry Collection #12 -List Poems

1. Residents of My Fridge

Do you know I have a humongous fridge?
It has,

oranges all juicy and round,
apples for sure tasty with no brown,
there are yesterday’s eggs unscrambled.
and some leftover chips crumbled.
cucumbers with a fresh green,
and tomatoes all fresh and clean.
sour lemons with some sweet lime,
and potatoes to give me energy for a while.
some minced garlic and ginger,
there is also some cut-up lady finger.
I see some ice -berg lettuce, my favourite,
and zucchini. I’m sure you would love to savour it,
and apples, apples, apples,                                                                                                                                                                          are those apples, Kashmiri?

I’ll go enjoy some of the food
but ill complete the list next time for you

2. Don’t Wanna Grow Up

These years,
They passed by so quick’
I wish I could just hold on to every second, every moment, every breath;

Don’t remember when a three turned into a thirteen,
don’t remember how tiny steps turned into big leaps,
don’t remember when story telling turned into gossip,
don’t remember when lipstick stains on the cheek turned into rushed goodbyes,
Don’t remember when family time turned into separate hours on screen,
and when I grew up from your womb to end up in the next room;

These years went fast,
wish I could live every moment again to the last,
time is moving by, just wanna hold on tight;

3. My Mood Every Week

I remember being glad and delighted on Monday,

Cheerful and thrilled on Tuesday,

Elated and ecstatic on Wednesday,

Excited and loved on Thursday,

Pumped up with a glass of upbeat on Friday,

Yet the days of my holiday, I was only upset and bored all day.
