We congratulate Aditya for this exemplary true self-expression.

Saturday Morning Excursion

It was a bright and sunny Saturday morning. My family and I decided to go to the nearby nature reserve, MacRitchie Nature Park as it seemed to be the best weather to go there. We reached there by taxi, and it was a 20-minute drive to the nature reserve.

Once we reached the nature reserve, there were many different suggested trails to go on. We decided to trek on the longest trail, a 11-kilometer loop route. The weather was pleasant in the sunlit nature park. The route was very tiring, and we could not take many breaks as there was a fear of fierce macaques attacking for food, so we only drank water 2 or 3 times. The trek was tiring, and we still had to sit down at the built huts quite a couple of times.

We saw many new types of flora and fauna along the trek, such as some unique flowers and leaves. We also collected some leaves and took them home to keep. At that time, we still had 3 kilometers left to walk. We all were a bit tired at that point, but we still encouraged each other to complete the trek and finally did it.

It was a pleasant experience for all of us. We then sat at a food court and had dosas, samosas, fish and chips, and a soft drink. We all had fun in the end and decided to do many such trips in the future.
