Find Kiko
There were extreme climatic conditions in Banasura. The air was chilling and crisp. The weather was chilling blistery with a heavy coating of frosty smoke. The place was extremely icy. Since it was a hill station, at night the temperature felt like sub-zero and even brisk. Early mornings it had biting temperatures, in the late morning the temperature was bleak, in the noon the temperature was raw, in the late noon the air was very fresh and in the evenings the temperature was crisp, frosty, and chilly and in the night the temperature was very hard. People would bundle up themselves whenever they move out. One cannot survive without overalls, thick wollen socks, sweaters, down jackets, gloves, and earmuffs.
On the eastern side of Banasura, there lived a boy called Ravi. He lived with his mother, father, grandma, and grandpa and had two cats. He was an extremely sensitive child and was kind of straightforward. He wore a Pea coat’ puffer jacket, hand warmers, heavy coat, legwarmers, muffler, and special boots which were comforting and protected him from snow.
He had only one desire. He wanted to be successful as a judge so he could grant justice and help someone when in trouble. He was also very smart and came first in his class. He had a small little charming puppy called Tommy. He used to feed him biscuits and almonds.
One day suddenly one of the cats disappeared. Nobody knew where the cat was. Once Ravi heard the news, he became extremely blue. When it was night, he quickly escaped through the front door when everyone slumbered. He started shouting, screaming his lungs out Kiko..Kiko…Kiko but there was no reply.
Afterwards when he was leaning outside his house door, he felt like someone was licking him. He turned back and saw Tommy. Tommy hugged him and asked tommy to find Kiko. Tommy sniffed the road, then took a left turn, then right turn and straight barked at the dustbin, Ravi opened the bin and to his surprise found Kiko sitting inside it. He said, “where did you go? Did you know how worried we were about you? Now let’s go home. I feel that I am on cloud nine.”
