The Ghost Clock

Thousands of years ago, there used to be an old hut. Cobwebs hung everywhere, everything had dust on it, and it was believed that this hut had magical spirits in it. Almost every part of this hut was ancient.

In this ancient hut, there was an old pendulum clock. It was as plain as anything, just the average clock you would find at a vintage clock shop. It used to wring every midnight. Ding Dong! Ding Dong! Clickety Clackety Clock! This sound would be heard every midnight.

This particular clock was inherited by a spirit. This spirit would make the sound of the clock. The spirit would ring every midnight for help from his fellow ghosts which would roam in the hut. It wanted to be let out.

The only problem was that it could not get out unless the clock was broken or disassembled. Of course, no one would think of visiting the hut and breaking a piece of history. Perhaps he would stay inside the clock forever.

One day, people got so annoyed by the Ding-Dong! Ding Dong! Clickety-Clackety Clock! noise that they decided to turn the clock off. Some scientists came to the hut and took the clock with them in the hope of turning it off. This was hope for the spirit as the clock would have to be disassembled.

Finally, the scientists took the clock apart to turn it off. The spirit had gotten out just as the clock opened. It had finally escaped the clock it had been in for hundreds of years. Then the rest is a new story…

The Magical Wiper

It was a sunny day in a big, metropolitan city called Jaipur. It was burning hot. It was as hot as a desert. In a big house, there was a wiper. It was a humongous wiper. This wiper was very keen to clean. Therefore, it was of a good quality. He always had a dream of cleaning which he already knew but he always failed. Poor wiper!

Suddenly, some guests were about to come. The wiper was the only one at the house. It was therefore lonely. It didn’t know where it should be cleaned.

All of a sudden, some idea came into his mind, he thought of asking some neighbor from another house. He then ran as fast as a cheetah. He reached and then rang the doorbell. Then a man came. The man was shocked to see a wiper ringing the doorbell and asking for help. He had never seen such a thing happening before. Then the wiper asked him. The neighbor went to his house and told it where he should clean. It then listened and exactly did what the neighbor suggested. The guests were about to come and it finished the cleaning in just 2 minutes. He then sat down and relaxed for a bit.

Instead of the guests coming first, the members of the house came. They came from a 2-day holiday. They were amazed! They noticed how the house was dirty when they were leaving and now it’s spink and spank. They didn’t know who cleaned the house. After a while, the guests came. They were amazed and overjoyed to see such a clean house. They loved it! They asked the members of the house who cleaned the house. The members had no answer. Then, suddenly the wiper came and told them that it was cleaned by him with the help of a neighbor next door. They were proud to see his effort and dedication in taking the time to clean the house. The members never knew that they had a magical wiper. They were exhilarated.
