1.Lily’s Instruments

Once upon a time in a small village of Denmark, there lived a little girl named Lily. She was very poor but joyful. She was thin but brave and clever. She used to love music and reading. She used to live in a small hut made of straw and inside all the rooms. There were tallow candles that used to melt easily and that is why it used to smell nasty. Though she used to be happy with the smallest of things she craved a better lifestyle. But the biggest hurdle was, she didn’t know how to fulfill it. She didn’t know how to earn money as she was less educated. She used to wonder day and night what to do. She tried to solve things and earn money but couldn’t get success. One day she saw a pile of boxes and a few other waste items. She was about to throw them away but suddenly got an idea to make musical instruments out of them. When she was done, she stood on the street and started playing them. The instrument sounded melodious and people started noticing it and bought the instruments. One day she made enough money to live in a nice house that didn’t smell as nasty and eventually became satisfied with her life.

2.Cities Of Future

After graduating from the University of Science and Technology she decided to find enough land for her city. She hunted far and wide in the country but failed to find enough land. She searched many countries from India to Australia but still couldn’t find land. One day she went to Vatican City and there she saw miles and miles of land, she realized she could make not one but three cities. That is how the cities of the future came into being.

3.Flood In Dehradun

One day in the clean city of Dehradun, around 4:30 pm, a drizzle had started to occur. Everyone was in their cozy homes doing something or the other. People assumed that this rain would end as if it was an ordinary rain but NO! The rain didn’t end, it had gotten stronger and stronger and soon the streets were covered in water and drones started bringing food to every single house. There and then, men, women, and children realized this was not an ordinary day. It was FLOOD! Now, in the heart of the city, there lived a young girl. She had survived the floods in California as she had gone there for a holiday. During her visit, a flood occurred and during this flood, she decided to help as many people as she could. As many people as she met, she told them the do’s and don’ts quickly. She told them to pack an emergency kit and go to the highest spot like a hilltop. Many people, rich or poor listened to her advice and because of this very generous act, many people survived.

Dias The Explorer I Student Dhairyash Gupta I Creative Writing Program Jaipur

By admin in Creative Writing, Original Stories on July 4, 2024

An original story written, by our offline (Jaipur) student Dhairyash Gupta.

Dhairyash is 9 years old. A young sports enthusiast and gold medalist with a creative bend of mind. We are proud to have him as a student of the Personality Development Program using Applied Storytelling, Public Speaking, Theatre, and Creative Writing tools under the mentorship of Facilitator Khusshbo Chokhaani. Dias the Explorer

Once there was a young little 5-year-old Portuguese boy named Dias. He was a naughty, cute, and honest fellow. He was a very playful and energetic boy as he jumped around everywhere he went. He was tall for his age and had puny eyes. Don’t judge a book by its cover as his eyes were as watchful as a hawk.

Dias used to live in a huge completely developed and populated city. His family used to live in a huge modern house as his father was one wealthy bloke. The entrance of the house was covered by flowers everywhere which made the entrance smell marvelous. The city was located on top of a mountain which means it was a hill station. Living in such a marvelous house and city could be anyone’s dream.

His dream was to become an adventurer when he grew up. He wanted to discover things. He wanted to discover dangerous scary and undiscovered areas. Adventurous expeditions used to give him all the thrill in life.

One day, he asked his mother, if they could go on a hiking trip in the upcoming summer holidays. In the holidays he practiced hiking which boosted his confidence and courage. Bravery is a trait that every explorer has in their list of internal qualities. He would hike on stony surfaces. When he used to hike in elevated places he would say, “My gizzard is freezing”. Later he gadded around while hiking as if it was a piece of cake.

The challenge was his dreams were big and his age was small. He had to be 18 years old to start exploring such dangerous places at such a young age. It would take a lot of time for him to grow 18-years-old.

He decided to wait till he turned 18 years old. As soon as he grew 18-years-old miraculously there was news of a valuable treasure hidden in the dark forest. Dias took out his compass and headed straight towards the dark forest. There he searched everywhere until he found a huge golden chest. He took it to an antique shop and sold it for millions of dollars.

He felt happy after achieving his dream. He even ended up being more successful than his dad.
