Life In A Village

In Uttar Pradesh, nearby Vrindavan a small village was nestled. This village had blissful environment with full of energizing pure wind. A boy named Arjun, who was very kind and caring visited this cozy village. He was active physically. He was of average height and had curly hair. Arjun was 10 years old. He went to the village with his grandparents. They took their bag packs and left the house at 5 am. They were going in a bus and travelled for 4 hours.

Arjun was getting bored, so his grandfather told him about some jokes like, “What is a frog favorite summertime treat? Hospicles, replied Arjun.” They also played games with playing cards. He enjoyed the cold breeze, the calming sun rays till the time they reach their destination. Then they got inside a small room in a small hut made of mud. There was no air conditioner, but it was still pleasant. there was no shower, just a tap. Initially, Arjun was feeling a little uncomfortable in the room. He was thinking that the city life was so different than the village life.

The next morning, the kids were playing the Gilli Danda. It didn’t look so interesting. When the Gilli came towards him, they forced
him to come and join. When he started playing, he enjoyed playing and had fun. Then he went to climb the trees, and they ate the
mangoes. They went to the lake; to feed fish and ducks and saw domestic animals. One week of his village holiday passed with new adventurous experiences. Soon he realized that he was not missing his technologies and gadgets anymore. On his last day he assured his friends that he will meet them soon. He left with all the new unforgettable memories.

Plants & Trees Saved Earth

“Hooooosssshhh hash”, the hot heat waves in the summer of Delhi, where the temperature reached 52.3 degrees Celsius. All the citizens were tired of the scorching heat, and heatstrokes became a common problem, all of this was a result of the global warming caused by us, the most dangerous creatures- human beings. The result of cutting lakhs of trees and not even planting thousands of trees is the severe heat wave.

Akash a 7-year old boy, who was unaware of these things was playing with his 4 yr old brother Aryan. Suddenly Aryan fainted, Akash panicked and rushed him inside their house. He then told his mother about everything that happened, his mother hurried, took some water, and splashed it on Aryan’s face, which made him conscious. Akash was shocked by this. From that day onwards, he started studying this problem and got to know that all that happened with Aryan was called heat stroke, he also found out that it is also caused by global warming which is caused by the cutting of trees. He got acquainted with not only his brother but also the police officers standing in this scorching heat for the safety of other people, and the vendors on carts selling goods also were the target of this problem. The whole nation was tired of this heat, even the air-conditioners which were used by people were a victim of global warming, because the gas which gets released due to the usage of air-conditioner acts as a greenhouse gas.

He was in deep guilt about what was happening and he thought that he is the reason why all of this was happening. His mother and father used to give him 10 rupees as his daily expense for chocolates etc. He had a piggy bank where he started saving that money. He also bought registers for himself which cost around 150 rupees, he changed his register and started using recycled paper registers which cost only 50 rupees. He used 2 registers each month and started saving the extra savings of 100 rupees.

He did work on this project for 5 months and named this project, “Plant Trees Save Earth”. All the money he had saved was now enough for his project. He saved around 3000 rupees and started buying saplings which cost 10 rupees each. By this, he had 300 saplings, and he started planting but he couldn’t do it all alone, seeing him his mother, father, and brother also decided to contribute to his project and they helped him plant the saplings and also helped him buy more saplings.

This continued for 2 years. To their immense surprise the third year the temperature did not rise above 40 degrees Celsius. All of them were happy and emotional.
