Jade’s Birthday

One morning, Jade was eating breakfast in her lush green garden. It was very bright and sunny. There were pancakes, bacon and eggs, ham and cheese sandwiches, and some porridge. It was splendid, and she was excited, as her birthday was coming up, on 19th October, 2023. She relaxed under the sunlight while trying to guess what her parents would give her.

Soon after, she fell asleep. Suddenly, she woke up, feeling cold and wet. It was raining, and it was foggy and misty, as well. She went back to her house and changed her clothes. She counted how many days there were left for her birthday. It was 25.09.2023. She thought it would take ages for it to come, but she was wrong. In no time at all, her birthday was here.

At school, her teacher gave her a paper crown to wear, which every child gets to wear on their birthday, and all the kids sang “Happy Birthday”. She felt rather grand. Then all the students had a spelling test. Their teacher dictated some words, which they had to write out.

They were “luminous, nocturnal, picturesque, sodden, foreboding, sturdy, abundance, enchanted, mysterious, strange, dampness, weird, majestic, alive, unbroken, untrodden, vivid, stunning, mossy, profound, diverse vast, wilderness and unending.”

She secured 24 out of 24. Her teacher praised her in front of the whole class, as she was the only one able to spell abundance. Though it was quite easy. She just remembers it like this. A-bun-dance.

When it was time to go home, she usually walked back home, but that day her parents came to pick her up in the car. They stopped for lunch in between.  They had chicken popcorn, from KFC, and a chicken zinger burger. When they reached home, it was all dark. Suddenly, the lights were switched on and everyone sprung up and yelled, “SURPRISE JADE, HAPPY BIRTHDAY”.

Pihu The Peahen

In a beautiful forest one morning on Sunday. It was raining. There were big oak trees. One of the trees was a special tree. The tree was gigantic. Its height couldn’t be measured as we couldn’t see the end of the tree branch. The tree’s name was “Enchanting Oak Tree”. Near the tree, there was a gorgeous and mesmerizing river. In which golden coins were sparkling. Near the river came the mother queen Peahen. She just gave birth to a peahen yesterday. Her name was “Pihu the Peahen”.

She was a gorgeous and precious princess. She was kind to everyone. She was also intelligent as she studied a lot. One day she had a
dream of becoming a dancer. She danced very gracefully. Everyone loved her dance. She was also very popular in her school. Because she liked dancing. One day when she woke up, she was mesmerized and energetic then went to school. She got 200/200 but when she came home, she was tired, and didn’t want to do anything. Then she thought let’s dance along with mother. And they both
started to dance gracefully and confidentially. Then they both use to dance and lived happily.
