Autumn

There’s nothing as gay,

As an autumn day,

With the smell in the air,

Of freshly mown hay.

Each tree is a wonder,

Of beauty untold,

Each leaf brushed with color,

A sight to behold.

There’s a nip in the air,

Crisp, Cool and Clear-

To remind us that winter,

Soon will be here.

But for now we have autumn,

The “show-off” of seasons!

My favorite by far,

And these are the reasons.

My Granny’s Missing Glasses

My granny was snoring,

When she woke up, she was yawning

She went on looking for her glasses,

On the drawer with scratches.

She looked under the bed,

And the floor

which was wet.

She suddenly slipped,

So, her leg flipped.

She rested on the bed,

which was red.

She felt something pointy,

Under her pillow.

And that was her glasses,

Which cost rupees twenty.

My granny laughed a lot,

and called me to tell.

The story of glasses,

How she got.
