An original and unique collection of Japanese Poems, Haikus, written by our student Sashrika Prasad.

Sashrika is 13 years old, a young writer from Gurugram. We are proud to have her as a student of the Online Creative Writing Program using Applied Storytelling & Applied Theatre tools under the mentorship of Trainer Khusshbo Chokhaani. 1.Morning Dew
Soft petals glisten,
Dew-kissed grass whispers secrets,
Dawn’s breath fills the air.

2.Autumn’s Symphony
Rustling leaves dance free,
Crisp air hums with melodies,
Fall’s palette sings loudly.

3.Ocean’s Embrace
Salted breeze whispers,
Waves caress the sandy shore,
Sunset’s warm embrace.

4.Whispers of Time
Echoes of the past,
Whispered tales in shadows cast,
History’s gentle grasp.

5.Silent Symphony
Night’s velvet embrace,
Stars twinkle, a silent grace,
Universe’s song.

6.Moonlit Symphony
Silver whispers fall,
Night’s orchestra, celestials call,
Dreams dance in moon’s thrall.

7.Autumn
In the quiet glen,
A single leaf’s descent speaks
Volumes of autumn.

8.Time
Through the lens of time,
Moments crystallize sharply,
Narrow focus, bright.

9.Starlight
Boundless sky narrowed
To a pinpoint of starlight,
Infinite in scope.

10.Winter
Winter’s icy grip,
Melts to reveal spring’s bloom,
Life’s eternal dance.

11.Harmony
Sunrise meets sunset,
Day and night in harmony,
Two parts of one whole.

12.Partners
Moonlight and shadow,
Dancing partners in the night,
Each incomplete, both.

13.Life in Spring
Spring’s tender embrace,
Awakening earth’s slumber,
Blossoms burst with life.

14.Summer
Summer’s fiery kiss,
Sunset hues paint the skyline,
Warmth embraces all.

15.Nature’s Serenity
Autumn’s gentle sigh,
Leaves fall like whispered secrets,
Nature’s serenity.

16.Life
Like a river’s flow,
Life’s journey twists and turns,
Yet finds its way back home.

17.Stars
Stars in night’s embrace,
Guiding lost souls to safety,
Light in the darkness.

18.Love
Two souls intertwined,
Bound by fate’s delicate thread,
Love’s eternal flame.

19.Heart of Spring
In the heart of spring,
Cherry blossoms drift like snow,
A lone hawk soars high.

20.River Bank
On the riverbank,
Gentle lilies sway in the slow breeze,
Torrential rain falls.

21.Determination
Whispers in the wind,
Majestic mountains stand tall,
A tiny ant crawls.

22.Glow
In the bustling square,
Neon lights drown out the stars,
A lone firefly glows.

23.Monsoon
Distant thunder rolls,
A tranquil meadow whispers,
Raindrops kiss the earth.

24.Winter Night
Silent winter night,
Stars gleam in the frosty sky,
Crickets chirp softly

25.Starlight
Starlight fills the night,
Galaxies beyond our reach,
Infinite expanse.

26.Blooms
Cherry blossoms bloom,
Fleeting beauty in the wind,
Petals drift away.

27.Raindrops
Raindrops on the pane,
Tears of the mourning sky fall,
Life renewed below.

28.Wise Nature
Mountains kiss the sky,
Echoes of ancient wisdom,
Nature’s grand embrace.

29.City Life
City lights ablaze,
The concrete jungle never sleeps,
Silent chaos reigns.

30.Nature’s Song
Whispers in the wind,
Soft petals dance with the breeze,
Nature’s gentle song.

    In rhythms so sweet, I go for miles.
    A joyful sound that fills the air,
    I’m the healer that’s always there.
    What am I?
    Answer: Music
  2. In colors bright, I bloom with grace,
    In gardens green, I find my place.
    A lovely sight that brings you cheer,
    I’m the masterpiece that’s always near.
    What am I?
    Answer: Flower
  3. In the stories you read, I take you so far,
    The pages you turn, make me a star.
    A world to explore within your eyes and mind,
    I’m the fantasy you’ll understand.
    What am I?
    Answer: Book
  4. I have wings that flap, I am born to fly,
    In skies so blue, I’m a pretty sight.
    A creature light, with colors so grand,
    I’m the beauty, free to land.
    What am I?
    Answer: Butterfly
  5. In jokes and giggles, I find my place,
    In moments shared, I bring you grace.
    A feeling warm, that fills your heart,
    I’m the joy that won’t depart.
    What am I?
    Answer: Happiness
  6. In streams that flow, I move along,
    In drops of rain, I clear up the fog.
    A liquid clear, so cool and clean,
    I’m liquid, in every scene.
    What am I?
    Answer: Water
  7. In moments quiet, I lie with grace,
    In the hush of night, I embrace.
    A peaceful calm, that soothes your mind,
    I’m the fragile thing that you’ll find.
    What am I?
    Answer: Silence
  8. In jokes and jests, I am the sound,
    In moments bright, I shine so loud.
    A sound of glee, that fills the air,
    I’m the sound that you share.

  9. I have branches so high, I reach the sky,
    I have leaves that rustle, I say “hi”.
    I am a friend so tall, with shade so wide,
    I’m the thing where birds reside.

    In hopes and wishes, I go far.
    A vision grand, that lights the way,
    I’m the thought you’ll have today.

    Answer: Dream

    In acts of love, I take a stand.
    A caring touch, that warms the soul,
    I’m the compasion that makes you whole.

    Answer: Kindness
