Overcome Fear

On an island with shining sun and soft breezes, seagulls were flying making a ‘miooo…….’ sound. The island is surrounded by crystal-like water and beautiful species of fishes. The fishes were swimming excitedly. The island was covered with tall trees. The island had many adventurous activities and house-shaped rooms.

On this island, there was a girl named Moon. She was just out of her teens. She was a beautiful, attractive, and adventurous girl. A thin girl having milk-like skin. She loved to smile, giggle and cheer showing her teeth. She usually wore slippers, and specs. She loved to wear a white shirt and a pink skirt.

She was spending her vacations on that island. One day she was on the seashore that having a peaceful sunbath while lying on a mat and wearing sunglasses after applying sunscreen. After a while she thought, “Should I go for some activities, or should I just sunbathe?” After thinking some time, she thought that she should go for some rides now. She then started walking towards the activities. First, she went for fishing when she found a mesmerizing Betta fish. Secondly, she attempted scuba diving where she found very pretty and rare fishes.

After many rides and activities, she went for bungee jumping but when she saw the height, she started hyperventilating. Even her breathing could be heard by other people. She was so afraid that she just sat there. She literally froze. Suddenly, the guard told her, “Hello, my dear child. You need to hold this rope tightly, and you have to jump from here. Don’t worry you will be all right. It’s safe”.

She then bent a little to see again. She said to the guard, “Hello sir the view is breathtaking. I love the view of the flowing water, the forest, birds chirping but the problem is that I am having acrophobia. I am scared of heights”. The guard tried to encourage her with comforting words and said, “Oh dear you should not worry just follow the steps that I am telling you. You will not be scared then. Trust me”.

Then Moon said nervously, “okay”.  First the guard asked her, to stand up and hold the rope tightly. She kept doing what the guard was telling her to do. She stood and held the rope. Guard told her, “Close your eyes. Keep your body free and imagine you are floating.”

She started imagining. When guard asked her to jump, she jumped. Initially she shouted while jumping down but when she reached the stability point, she opened her eyes slowly. She said, “Wow its fun”. She enjoyed the views of the forest, trees, river and the freedom.  When she returned to the base, she expressed her deep gratitude to the guard. “Thank You, Thank You , Thank You, for removing my deep-seated fear of heights. Now I am no more scared of heights”.

The guard smiled and replied, ” I did my job only nothing extra”.

Moon was on cloud nine to overcome her fear of heights and enjoyed her vacation thoroughly.

Power Of A Book

Once upon a time, there was a small village nestled in a green valley. The villagers lived simple life, tending crops and taking care of their families. One day, a young girl named Lily discovered a magical book hidden in her attic.

Curiosity sparked in Lily’s eyes as she opened the book. To her amazement, the pages were filled with enchanting stories and beautiful illustrations. Little did she know that this book had the power to transport her to different worlds.

Eager to embark on an adventure, Lily chose a story and found herself whisked away to a faraway land. She landed in a vibrant jungle filled with colorful birds and towering trees. As she explored the jungle, she encountered talking animals and made friends with a mischievous monkey named Milo.

Together, Lily and Milo discovered a hidden treasure guarded by an ancient, wise elephant. The elephant shared stories of the past and taught them valuable life lessons about friendship, courage, and kindness. Inspired by their encounter, Lily and Milo decided to share these lessons with the villagers back in their village.

Returning home, Lily realized that the village needed a library where everyone could access the knowledge and adventures she had experienced. With the help of her newfound friends, she organized a community project to build a library. The villagers eagerly pitched in, contributing books, materials, and their time to make Lily’s dream come true.

Months passed, and the library was finally complete. It stood proudly in the heart of the village, filled with books from different worlds. Lily became the village’s storyteller, enchanting young and old with her tales of bravery and imagination. The library became a gathering place for the villagers, where they could learn, dream, and grow together.

Lily’s adventure and the library became legends in the village and were passed down through generations. The villagers never forgot the power of stories and the magic they brought to their lives. And so, the small village continued to thrive, inspired by the simple words on the pages of a magical book.
