Robert was very benevolent and sympathetic. And he was also courageous. But he was scared of the specter.

One day he went to the encampment with his friend. They had secured their tent they are done with their dinner and all.

Suddenly, A sound came “hoho-haha”, Robert was afraid of ghosts, and he was scared tell his friend that some chatter is coming. “Let’s go see what it is,” he said scarcely. They move further to see who is there. The same sound came again” Hoho-haha”.

An original mysterious story, written by our student Rangit Dey.

Rangit is a student in Grade 7, studying at the prestigious Asian World School, Jaipur. We are proud to have him as a student of the Creative Writing Program through Applied Storytelling under the mentorship of Trainer Khusshbo Chokhaani. Deep Into Darkness

Screech! The driver slammed on brakes, “The Duncan’s, 136 Avenue Road, Terlingua, Texas 141. Can I help you with the luggage miss?”. “It would be very helpful to do so” answered Sophie. She took a look around while the cab driver took the luggage out. The weather was moderate, kids played on the footpath. There were lush green gardens all around having flowers of exquisite colors. But the house she was moving into looked out of place, but who dares to care about the looks of a big house for cheap? “Ahem”, Sophie was startled, she looks back to see the cab driver stare at her questionably, and she swiftly paid the fare.  The cab was gone she looked all around once and then headed into the house.

Sophie was a girl of 18 years, her skin was fair and she was appreciated countless numbers of times for her lustrous blond hair. Sophie had casual attire as any normal college freshman would. Leaving her home in New York and came to study here in Texas. For a couple of weeks, she had been searching for a home in the neighborhood. The Duncans were a family who had an empty house in Texas and were willing to rent it, seeing the size and the rent she quickly took it nonchalant about the looks.

Before her lay a living room with a comfy sofa and a small T.V., on the other side of which was the kitchen. There was a passage to the right which lead to the bathroom. The stairs between the kitchen and living room led to the second floor where there was a hallway at the end of which was the bedroom. Now she arranged her stuff throughout the day and then having dinner she went to bed, tired from a long day’s work she went into a deep sleep.

Sophie woke up at midnight longing for a glass of water, upon quenching her thirst she was going to the bedroom when after she reached the second floor the lights went out, from the reserve power only one light in the hallway was lit. Now, when she was little, she had Bathophobia or a phobia of dark deep spaces like a dark hallway, she SLOWLY SLOWLY OVERCAME her phobia with exposure to it, but after MANY years it awakened AGAIN.

She slowly walked towards the bedroom, suddenly she could hear a song in a soft voice “I know you well, come into me, I am darkness”. The pace of the song increased with every minute and second. And then came running towards her a white lady with her hair dangling as if she was going to kill her and she passed out. The next day at college she felt as if it was a dream and continued her life as if nothing happened. But the incident did not stop, and it repeated every night to such an extent that she drove herself to madness.

One morning, one kid accidentally threw the ball into the house, so he rang the bell. After waiting for a long time the kid grew impatient and called his mom, again after waiting they decided to call the police. The cops broke into the house, they headed straight to the bedroom to find her dead. Lying on the floor beside her was a bottle and a note explaining everything. Post-mortem results declared she died by consuming Cyanide. After a thorough investigation, they found out that she was disturbed by the exposure to a phobia which cause her to hallucinate and see things (hyper imagination), not being able to take the pressure she snuck Cyanide from chemistry class and committed suicide, ending her devastating pain.
