Autumn I Student Ayessha Mudassir I Little Writers Program
By admin in Poetry on April 13, 2022
Original poetry on nature sounds was written by Ayessha Mudassir.
Ayessha is 10 years old young writer from Riyadh. Writing and Art are her core passion. We are proud to have her as a student of the Little Writers Program, an Online Creative Writing Program using Applied Storytelling & Theatre tools under the mentorship of Trainer Khusshbo Chokhaani. We congratulate Ayessha for this exemplary true self-expression.
Autumn
There’s nothing as gay,
As an autumn day,
With the smell in the air,
Of freshly mown hay.
Each tree is a wonder,
Of beauty untold,
Each leaf brushed with color,
A sight to behold.
There’s a nip in the air,
Crisp, Cool and Clear-
To remind us that winter,
Soon will be here.
But for now we have autumn,
The “show-off” of seasons!
My favorite by far,
And these are the reasons.
